A client in the telecommunications industry required a CNC machined communication cavity for high-frequency signal management. The component’s primary function is to house sensitive RF electronics while providing structural support and electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection.
The design features multiple deep compartments with thin internal walls, all machined to a consistent tolerance of ±0.05mm. This level of precision ensures that shielding covers fit securely and that the internal geometry meets the specific signal-path requirements. The final part was deburred and inspected to ensure a clean, conductive surface suitable for industrial use.
