Custom CNC Machined Anti-Slip Lock Nut in Anodized Aluminum

Some fasteners do more than just hold parts in place. They need to grip securely, stay tight under vibration, and keep a neat appearance. A customer approached us for a custom anti-slip lock nut: a precision-machined aluminum nut with internal threading, a faceted outer profile for reliable tool engagement, and a ring of anti-slip teeth on the seating face to prevent backing off. We CNC machined this component from solid aluminum and finished it with a black anodized coating.

Designed to thread onto mating shafts, tubes, or housings, this nut locks components firmly in place through three integrated features: the internal thread delivers primary fastening; the faceted outer profile ensures positive grip for hand or wrench torqueing without slipping; and the anti-slip teeth on the seating face bite into the mating surface to resist vibration-induced loosening. Unlike standard hex nuts, this part is engineered to stay tight during continuous service. Aluminum construction keeps the weight low, while the black anodized finish provides a hard, corrosion-resistant, low-glare surface that enhances the aesthetic of visible assemblies.
