Custom Anodized Aluminum Flange Plate

We manufactured a custom flange plate for a customer’s mounting assembly. This is a lightweight three-arm spider component, designed to position a rotating hub via its central locating bore and secure the entire assembly to the equipment frame through two independent bolt mounting layouts. The entire custom anodized aluminum flange plate is CNC milled from solid aluminum stock, then finished with bead blasting and blue anodization for improved surface performance and durability.
This flange plate serves dual purposes for mounting and positioning. The central round bore acts as the locating register, which fits over the hub to keep the entire assembly precisely concentric. An inner bolt pattern surrounding the central bore fixes the plate to the hub, while each of the three extended arms features an outer mounting hole for fastening to the matching structure. The cut-out triangular openings between the arms are functional rather than decorative. They remove excess material from non-critical areas to reduce overall weight, a key practical advantage for rotating and moving mechanical parts.
For applications requiring higher strength with a thinner, lighter component profile, we can fabricate the same design using 7075-T6 aluminum. This grade delivers improved mechanical strength, though its anodized finish will have a slightly softer color tone compared to standard aluminum.
