Custom Stainless Steel CNC Keyboard for Marine Applications

Marine keyboards are specialized input interfaces designed to operate reliably in harsh maritime environments, such as ship bridges, open-deck control stations, and offshore oil platforms. Unlike standard office peripherals, these devices must withstand constant exposure to salt spray, high humidity, vibration, and extreme temperature fluctuations. To address these operational conditions, our client commissioned the manufacturing of a Custom Stainless Steel CNC Keyboard. This project focused on creating a device that combines the structural rigidity of metal with the corrosion resistance necessary for long-term sea voyages.

The design called for a fully metallic construction, including both the faceplate and the individual keycaps, to ensure maximum longevity and wear resistance. The chassis was milled from a solid stainless steel block.
