Custom CNC Machined Aluminum Keycaps

A custom mechanical keyboard designer approached us to manufacture a small batch of metal keycap prototypes. They needed a premium alternative to standard plastic (ABS/PBT) caps, requiring the weight and cool touch of metal while maintaining the precise profile of standard keycaps. Finished with Type II anodizing in Purple and Rose Gold, these CNC keycaps feature a durable.
As seen in the photo, the finish is vibrant and durable, ready for subsequent laser etching or to be used as stylish “blank” keycaps. The resulting keycaps offer a solid acoustic profile (“thocky” sound) and a premium weighted feel that plastic cannot match. The anodized surface is resistant to finger oils and scratches.
